For many in small churches, purchasing, learning, and using a full fledged graphics editor can be overwhelming and unnecessarily complex for most everyday design tasks. Today we are going to take a look at a simple and free price of software called Photoscape X that can be used to create simple graphics, edit photos, and design YouTube Thumbnails with a minimal learning curve.
In this video I quickly overview all the features of Photoscape X and then dive more in-depth into the Editor. We will design the YouTube thumbnail for this video from beginning to end to illustrate how quick and easy it can be to design simple graphics for your church.
This tutorial is intended for those with little design experience or those interested in seeing how to use Photoscape X for graphic design.
I personally use Photoscape X for most basic designs, and the open source software Inkscape for more complex projects.
