As a stock vector or photo artist, it can be hard to come up with ideas. In this video, I cover specific and concrete ideas for creating sellable stock images.
Overarching ideas:
Certain types of images absolutely sell better based on demand, like business and finance images, for example.
Generally, industry-specific images sell well, and if you’re photographing people, try to include diversity.
Try creating images around concepts or phrases.
New and current trend images can sell well – this can include seasonal or holiday images.
Keyword ideas:
According to Shutterstock, some keyword searches are increasing in popularity, and you can create images specifically to cater to these searches.
