If you are just getting started as a graphic designer or you are looking to upgrade your desk setup I made this video to help you understand what is necessary for you to be a successful graphic designer. This desk tour setup is to help you understand the gear you actually need.
A lot of people come into the graphic design industry and immediately flock to the shiny Apple products, which is not a bad thing whatsoever, but it is important to know that you do not HAVE to get an Apple computer to be an equipped graphic designer.
Graphic designers can setup their desks with more affordable gear that pack just as big of a punch, if not more of a punch.
In this video I am going to walk you through my desk tour setup to discuss the specifications of my gear, recommendations I will make and hopefully create a successful dialogue in your mind about what gear you need to become a well suited graphic designer.
Remember it is NOT about the shiniest gear! It is about getting the right gear on your desk setup to help you as a graphic designer to be equipped to work each day with speed an efficiency.
