Aaron James Draplin, designer and founder of Draplin Design Co., talks shop with Tyler McKnight about Bernie Sanders, what he thinks about template design and Fiverr, who his design heroes are and just how like you and me he really is.
Aaron Draplin is a designer that’s worked with tons of brands and people you’ve heard of including Patagonia, Nike, Ford, and Barack Obama. He’s also the founder of Field Notes — the iconic little notebooks you’ve seen all over the place.
The interview was recorded in 2018 at the Helen DeVitt Jones Print Studio in Lubbock, Texas and contains some strong language that some viewers may find objectionable.
