In this video I sat down with Anne Bracker to discuss how she makes passive income as a graphic designer. I have been intrigued by her YouTube Channel, Graphic Design How To, because of her videos on passive income and I wanted to explore this idea of passive income as a graphic designer a little bit more.
Anne and I have similar goals as graphic designers, financial Independence, and so I wanted to talk with her about how she makes her passive income as a graphic designer.
1. She has a YouTube channel where she receives Ad Sense revenue and promotes some of her vector icons. Having this form of passive income is two-sided. She receives the immediate income from Ad Sense as well as credibility for the videos and information she puts out which will eventually give her a larger audience and more credible voice in the industry.
2. Anne’s second way to make passive income as a graphic designer is through selling vector icons on multiple stock vector websites. She says that this can be hit or miss because you just never know what vector pack is going to do well and what will be a flop. It is well worth the effort but still not a perfect science for graphic design passive income. She sells a few per day and has over 2000 vectors across 10 different websites.
3. Graphic design passive income for Anne also come through selling art work for cricket machines on Etsy. Anne said that this one is very successful for her. She makes SVG files that work on the Cricket machines. It is very popular among crafty people and mom’s with young children. She sells about 2-3 per day and has over 200 on Etsy.
4. The forth way to make passive income as a graphic designer is affiliate marketing. This is actually my 1 income stream as a graphic designer and I talked to Anne a little bit about how I work this into my YouTube channel. Affiliate marketing is great because I get to talk about and share products that I Iike. I get help people make qualified buying decisions for their graphic design needs.
