Thank you to Tom from South Australia for asking the question that inspired me to make this video. here are the 5 questions asked in this video.
1. Do you build themes from scratch, or do you use premium themes/templates and alter them for clients? I can do both but I’ve found using premium themes and altering them to the clients needs is far quicker and more efficient as once I’ve designed my own and bug tested a new theme from scratch, it can take a while.
2. How do you host your clients websites? Do clients normally prefer to use yours or their own hosting from your experience?
3. Have you ever had a client that simply wasn’t satisfied with your work? I’ve seen your websites and they look excellent, I only ask because I think this is what makes me the most nervous.
4. Do you teach clients to use Joomla themselves so they can update as they please, or do you make the edits yourself?
5. What would you say would be the minimum a developer would need to know before they can start freelancing/charging?
