A Diamond Website, what’s that?
Since the reveal of Pink and Pearl’s story, I was curious what it is to wake up as a homeworld gem. How do they just KNOW what to do?
I thought their diamonds would have a website to keep things better organized. Especially since Yellow is always tapping at a screen. This way they are not bothered by gems constantly about new missions, colony reports, or biz that is one click away.
Each diamond’s site has a feeling. They want to make their gems to feel a certain way about them and about their purpose. How disposable does a gem feel in White’s court? What is White’s personality like based on colors, fonts, and imagery? What makes her different from Yellow, Blue, and Pink based on how she represents herself, or how are they similar? These are questions I wanted to answer in my designs.
I’m posting the process on here for those interested in how shapes were formed (or well my thought process). This was created in Illustrator.
